At just months of age and weighing just three kilograms, this tiny male chimpanzee was rescued from the illegal bushmeat trade. Traumatised by his experiences, little Joseph was initially nervous and scared of humans, but gentle care and patience from our caregivers won him over and we couldn't be more pleased with his progress.
