At just four months old, little Chris was given as a gift to an ex-pat who was told his mother had dropped him whilst fleeing a farm in Central Cameroon. Luckily the couple realized they couldn’t look after a gorilla long-term and delivered him into our care. He was in good health and transitioned very quickly and comfortably onto our team. Since then Chris has developed into a cheeky and fun-loving young gorilla, who is now a key member of a social group.
