Dr Julieta | Behind the Surgery That Gave Parry His Best Chance

When Parry needed specialist surgery, it fell to our head vet Dr Julieta to help make it happen. Finding the right specialists for a case as complex as Parry's is never straightforward, and in this video Dr Julieta takes us through the process of how that came together and what it was like when it did.

The surgery itself was incredibly challenging. But Dr Julieta describes it as an amazing opportunity, both to learn and to build a strong working relationship with two highly experienced surgeons. Having Dr Romain Pizzi, one of the world's leading exotic wildlife veterinarians, and Dr Peter Sedman, a highly experienced human abdominal surgeon, working alongside her team was something she will not forget.

This was not the first time Dr Julieta has collaborated with outside specialists. But cases like Parry's are a reminder of just how far our team will go to give every resident the very best care possible, no matter how complex the road to recovery may be.
