Tiny, six month old Cazza was being transported inside a cardboard box, strapped to the back of a wildlife trafficker’s motorbike, when she was rescued by the Last Great Ape Organisation (LAGA) and brought to sanctuary at Mefou. Frightened Cazza was treated for dehydration and lice infestation, then cared for round the clock by our dedicated team who tought her to crawl, walk and develop enough strength and confidence to be integrated with a young chimpanzee group.

To take action and help support Cazza for the next year with food, medicine and care, just complete our online adoption form.
